JPA interview

okay, so most probably all of you have heard about this...well, mine was on the 5th of April, the first day of the interview(kinda scary actually, coz you don't have anyone to refer to yet!) I arrrived there at 1pm, quite early i thought but to my surprise, there were quite a number of the other fellows there. Then just go over to the list on the wall and signed my name there(not that important actually, coz they don;t even look at it!!) The wait there was pretty boring, due to the circumstance I was in, where none of my closer friends are on the same day as mine. Finally, at 2pm, they called us in for the interview. Had to register one more time(now THIS is important!) before we were seated in the waiting room. It was after that only I noticed that there are 3 different panels of interviewers and each panel has to interview 22 applicants!! We were then grouped into groups of 6 according to our birthday(Mine is on 30th of Nov, so naturally I was in the last group...oh and I got panel 2) Anyways, the first group of each panel went for the interviews looking happy and calm. Imagine the fright we got when they came back from the interview about 40 minutes later looking as though they have just seen a ghost!!(I exaggerate a little, so please bear with me xD) It was through the first group that we got to know about the interviewers. Panel 1 was the worse, I heard, as they have one interviewer who is always, well, debating with you. Whatever you mention, he will find something to fight back! Panel 2(my panel!) was the most docile, as they just ask you and then they let u answer without any interruption and stuffs. While panel 3...honestly, I know nothing about panel 3, except that both interviewers are doctors, so sorry about that. Well, come my group's turn, my legs were turning into jelly, my heart was racing at 120 beats/min, I had butterflies in my stomach...OMG! So, we started off with introducing ourselves. In this section, put in all details of yourself, your family, your chosen career, where you want to further your studies and why you choose the place. Mine was in BI but another friend of mine was in BM, so prepare yourself for both. The next part would be the 2 questions that is one is in BM, one is in BI. If they ask in BM, answer in Bm andvice versa. Answer these calmly, DON'T panic, just remember, they are not judging whether you comitted a crime or not, but they are there to help you to get the scholarship. Some of the questions asked today are as below(either in BM or BI):

1. Explain about the  principles of One Malaysia
2. If you were given a chance, how would you run a hospittal?
3. Please describe your experience at the Program Pendedahan Kerjaya Seorang Doktor(If you opt for     medicine)
4. The government has made it compulsory for MO's after housemanship to be placed in rural areas for 2 years. What is your opinion on this?
5. Tell us about the current diseases in Malaysia.

That's all I know right now. Oh, at the end of this, they will ask you whether you have any questions to ask. DO NOT ask questions regarding the bond or anything to do with coming back to work with Malaysia. It will only show that you are not interested in working in  Malaysia. Then say thank you, and HOLA! ITS OVER!! GOOD LUCK!! hope my blog helps a little!XD
